Plans Progress for New SEND School in Bracknell

Progress is being made on a project to redevelop a closed school in Bracknell to teach children with disabilities.

Exciting developments are underway in Bracknell as plans to transform a closed school into a new facility for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) progress.

The Warfield Church of England Primary School, which closed its doors in July 2022, is set to become a dedicated SEND school after receiving approval from Bracknell Forest Council. Recent submissions have been made detailing the drainage management for the redevelopment.

Meanwhile, in Broadmoor, the West London NHS Trust plans to replace bedroom windows at the Paddock Centre, which caters to patients with severe personality disorders. This upgrade aims to align the older hospital buildings with the newer standards established in 2019.

In Binfield, a local business owner is seeking legal certification to officially use barns at Stokes Cottage for commercial activities, specifically for a vehicle servicing company. The site features a large home and several recreational amenities.

Additionally, in Finchampstead, plans have been approved for a new two-storey, five-bedroom home to replace an existing bungalow on Nash Grove Lane, which is expected to benefit the local economy during its construction.
