Mole Road Closure: Weeks of Disruption Ahead

A road will remain closed for weeks while work is conducted on the gas network in a village between Reading and Wokingham.

Mole Road in Sindlesham is set to remain closed for weeks due to gas network work, impacting drivers between Reading and Wokingham.

The closure, in effect since early September, is between Harrow Way and Betty Gove Lane and will last until 11.59pm on Friday, October 24.

Drivers are being diverted via B3030 Sindlesham Road, B3349, and Bearwood Road.

To address local concerns, SGN has implemented a new access route allowing residents and businesses to travel towards Sindlesham and Winnersh without using the diversion. Marshalls will be on-site to monitor the situation.

However, access via Arborfield remains unavailable, and the main diversion must still be followed. SGN acknowledges the frustration caused by other utility works in the area and promises to keep their website updated with the latest information.
