The former offices of a leading computer company in Bracknell are set to be demolished to make way for new commercial buildings.
The former Dell House offices in Bracknell are set to be demolished to make way for new commercial buildings.
Located in the Cain Road area, Dell House was once the European headquarters for the American tech giant.
Built in 2000, this four-storey building served Dell employees until it was vacated in July 2022. The property has since been bought by Blue Coast Capital and Jansons Property.
Bracknell Forest Council’s planning committee is currently reviewing the demolition plans.
Planning officer Simon Roskilly noted that prior approval is required from the council, due to the project's complexities, which involve clear demolition methods.
Collins Demolition has been appointed to carry out the work, expected to last up to 10 weeks.
A decision on the demolition is anticipated during the council's planning meeting on Thursday, November 6. You can find the application under reference 25/00619/DEM on the council's planning portal.
The demolition will pave the way for three new commercial buildings, with plans also under review under reference 25/00066/FUL.
