The conversion of a grand office building in Bracknell into more than 30 flats has been rejected, years after previous plans were approved.
Plans to convert Bracknell's historic Lily Hill House into 33 flats have been rejected by the council.
Built in the 1800s and surrounded by Lily Hill Park, the building has served as a business centre since 2000. Despite previous approval in 2021, this project was turned down due to concerns that nearby activities from the Bracknell Lawns Tennis Club could disturb future residents.
In town news, a Hindu temple located in the historic Whynscar House has received the green light for improvements, including a new heritage-style kitchen ventilation system.
Meanwhile, a new development of 48 homes in Arborfield is progressing, as Cala Homes secured planning approval on October 28. This project, part of the Finchwood Park development, involves building community facilities alongside the new housing.
